About

Matthews is from Farmington, CT and is a recent graduate at the University of Connecticut with a degree in Communication. Matthews has developed a passion for design and an interest in marketing. He hopes to develop his skills to be a digital marketer or a designer one day. Outside of the internship and work, Matthews enjoys practicing martial arts, spending time with friends and family, and designing his own passion projects. 

Experience

During his time in college he has been able to expand his knowledge of communications, research, marketing, advertising, digital design, and technology. He also gained skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. While additionally gaining basic skills in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Matthews has years of experience in customer service and is comfortable communicating with people and meeting their needs in the workplace. Matthews’ communication skills has improved throughout his jobs in the restaurant field, as a taekwondo instructor, and as a lifeguard.
