Sanka Kaluge is from Hartford, CT, and is currently attending online South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He is majoring in General Studies with a minor in marketing. Sanka has always been interested in Digital marketing and wishes to pursue a career in the same field as well as running his online store. He believes that he can get the necessary education and training through this internship that will help him to market his own business online. He likes spending time with his friends and family, as well as cooking, nightlife, and spending time outdoors in his spare time.
During his three years of college, he developed entrepreneurial and analysis skills in the field of business, marketing, and customer service. With being exposed to the merchandising aspect of the business world, he has realized the true potential of digital marketing, and landing the internship at AWS has been the perfect opportunity for him to have the best hand on experience to further his passion and career. The internship has aided Sanka to get a glimpse at what’s behind the curtains of the industry and broadened his knowledge and allowed him to apply the knowledge that he already had. Being an immigrant, Sanka has been exposed to the international business world, as well as business practices on the east coast, west coast, and Midwest, which has given him a vast number of experiences and insights.
